The eleventh Yihong Xia Best Paper Award is Announced

The eleventh Yihong Xia Best Paper awards was handed out along with other best paper awards during the annual CICF conference in Xiamen on July 8, 2016. Special thanks again to Professor Jun Qian, as well as CICF & SAIF for the continued support for our award.

We selected the following two papers for our award in 2016:

1. “The Life Cycle of Corporate Venture Capital,” by Song Ma, Yale University

2. “Profit Sharing, Wisdom of the Crowd, and Theory of the Firm," Jiasun Li, University of California, Los Angeles

The tenth Yihong Xia Best Paper Award is Announced

The tenth Yihong Xia Best Paper awards was handed out along with other best paper awards during the annual CICF conference in Shenzhen on July 10, 2015. Special thanks again to Professors Jun Pan and Xiaoyun Yu, conference co-chairs for their support of our efforts, as well as CICF & SAIF for the support for our award.

We selected the following two papers for our award in 2015:

1. “Investment Waves under Cross Learning,” by Shiyang Huang, London School of Economics and Yao Zeng, Harvard University

2. “Communication and Comovement: Evidence from Online Stock Forums," Lei Jiang, Georgia State University and Jinyu Liu, Tsinghua University

The ninth Yihong Xia Best Paper Award is Announced

The ninth Yihong Xia Best Paper awards was handed out along with other best paper awards during the annual CICF conference in Chengdu on July 11, 2014. Special thanks again to Professor Hong Yan, conference co-organizer for his support of our efforts and Professors Michael Brennan and Jun Qian for presenting the award, as well as CICF & SAIF for the support for our award.

We selected the following two papers for our award in 2014:

1. “Who Bears Firm Level Risk? Implications for Cash Flow Volatility,” by Xiaolan Zhang, University of California, Los Angeles (now at the University of Texas at Austin); and

2. “The Interbank Market Run and Creditor Runs," by Xuewen Liu, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
